The protien intake was a make it or break it topic for the gastric bypass for me. I talked to numerous people that have failed to do the protein required for this surgery simply because they couldn't find one that they could stomach! I promised myself I was not cutting any corners for this procedure and that following all of the doctors requirements would be the only way I would go. After trying some shakes and knowing that there was no way I could do those for the rest of my life, I was beginning to feel that the reality of surgery was slowly slipping away. I was finally introduced to the IDS New Whey Liquid. WOW!! The relief to me to know that there is something out there that I will actually be able to take each and every day. The flavors are a personal preference, but orange and grape are my favorite! Blue raspberry is okay and a nice change. I have not tried the fruit only because I am not a fan of things that may come close to tasting like medicine. GOAL ACHIEVED!!

Awesome Stuff
Im not the biggest fan of having to chug down protein shakes a couple times a day which makes this stuff so great. Low calorie and 42 grams of protein in a lil bottle which i can drink in 2 seconds; plus it tastes like kool-aid kinda.

this protein is very good. the orange is not the best flavor but the others are good. it is a convienient way to get a quick shot of protein without having to make a shake.
